Drew Dellinger : Planetize the Movement

In this talk Drew will provide insight and inspiration for a common-sense, compassionate revolution for a sustainable future. Rooted in the grandeur of the cosmos, the transformative power of love, and the urgent call for justice Drew Dellinger is a spoken word poet, teacher, writer, activist and founder of Poets for Global Justice.
Drawing on the vision of Martin Luther King Jr., as well as 18 years of study with environmental thinker Thomas Berry, Drew will describe deep compassion and love for all beings as the ground that connects cosmology, ecology and justice. Dellinger has shared the stage with luminaries such as Alice Walker, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Danny Glover, Paul Hawken, and many others. He has collaborated with the Awakening The Dreamer movement, and his work has appeared on radio, in film, books, anthologies, and in magazines, from The New York Times magazine to YES! magazine. His collection of poems, love letter to the milky way has sold thousands of copies to readers in North America, South America, Europe, Africa and Australia.
